{INTRODUCTION}
THE RISKY DRIVE SHOW is a ROCK’N’ROLL BAND that has been rolling for 22 years since its formation in 1998. Currently, seven albums have been released to the world, and the latest album “BLUE PERIOD, RED PERIOD” was released by Daiki Sound on January 22 earlier this year. THE RISKY DRIVE SHOW performed on TV, created inserted songs, and played lots of LIVE gigs and are still an active ongoing band!
{BIOGRAPHY}
THE RISKY DRIVE SHOW formed in January 1998 by vocalist THE-MIZ and guitarist hisarkey after their former bands disbanded. The members encountered each other maybe via; friends introduction, a different band while playing on the same event, or a poster in a studio…
{CONCEPT & STYLE}
ROCK’N’ROLL MUSIC without wavering and always aiming for the best ROCK’N’ROLL SHOW as a LIVE BAND.
Originally we liked the words “RISKY” and “DRIVE”, and when we put them together by chance, the words became more meaningful to us.
Then we tried to write it as “THE RISKY DRIVE” and we felt that the number of words was not enough, so we added the word “SHOW”.
Those words all together gave a really good feeling together, so we made the official name of the band “THE RISKY DRIVE SHOW”.
However, it’s important to note that the word “SHOW” is not pronounced and that “risky drive” is the correct way to read it.

hisarkey: 「気」 (has various meanings )
HIRO: 「楽」 (has various meanings )
A KANJI TO DESCRIBE YOURSELF
THE-MIZ →「信」(faith/trust, etc)
I think it’s great to have faith in anything. The same goes for music and relationships.
hisarkey →「魂」(soul)
Because I always want to feel my soul. I want to put my soul into everything I do.
HIRO →「心」 (heart)
After all, it’s love and peace! Also, as a Japanese person, it has various deep meanings.
