■新バンドの始動おめでとうございます！
「存在しない音楽家」という、とても不思議な言葉が気になっています。N.O.I.R.とは、そして匿名性音楽とは、どのようなものか、また、どういった経緯でこのような活動を始めようと考えられたかを教えていただけますか？
N: ありがとうございます。
N.O.I.R.は「誰でもない音楽」をやりたくて始めました。
名前や顔、肩書きが先に立ってしまうと、音楽そのものが後ろに下がってしまう気がしていて…だから「存在しない音楽家」という言葉を選びました。
匿名性音楽というのは正体を隠すためではなく、聴く人が自由に音楽と向き合える余白を残すための形です。
僕自身が何者かよりも、この音が誰かの心にどう触れるか。
それだけが残ればいいなと思っています。
■匿名性音楽ということで作詞、作曲、歌、演奏、写真、いろいろな要素を、Nさんが担っているのでしょうか。他にも匿名のメンバーさんが存在するのでしょうか。
N: 基本的な核となる部分、作詞や歌は僕が担っています。
ただ、N.O.I.R.は決して一人きりの世界ではありません。
アレンジ面ではtakuto/kono(ex.鴉-カラス-拓人)がサポートしてくれていて、楽曲に血を通わせてくれる存在です。
匿名という形ではありますが必要なところで必要な人の力を借りながら、音楽として一番いい形を選んでいます。
■「不完全な僕へ」は、切なさや儚さ、優しさや真っ直ぐな純心さが感じられる素敵な歌詞とメロディーで心に響きました。
歌詞に込めた想いや、作詞のエピソードを伺えたら幸いです。
N: ありがとうございます。
この曲は過去の自分に手紙を書くような気持ちで書きました。
強くなれなかった自分、うまく生きられなかった自分、でもそれでも必死に生きていた自分に向けて。
「不完全でもいい」と言いたいのになかなか言えなかった言葉を、音楽に託した曲です。
■「不完全な僕へ」の作曲はどのように行われたのでしょうか？作曲のインスピレーションとなったものはありますでしょうか？
N: メロディーはとても静かな時間に生まれました。
特別な出来事があったわけではなく、
ただ「今日は少し自分に優しくしてもいいかもしれない」と思えた夜です。
派手なインスピレーションというより、日常の中でこぼれ落ちそうだった感情をすくい上げた感覚に近いですね。
■MVでは沢山の素敵なお写真も印象に残りました。写真は Nさんが撮影されたものでしょうか。写真に込めた想いや、MVで特に注目してほしい点などを教えていただけますでしょうか。
N: 写真は自分で撮影したもので、完璧じゃない構図や少しブレた瞬間をあえて残しました。
MVでは「綺麗さ」よりも「記憶に残る違和感」を大切にしています。
音楽と同じで、見た人それぞれの感情が重なって完成するMVだと思っています。
■新バンドが始動するまでには、様々な困難もあるかと思いますが、N.O.I.R.の始動やリリースに向けての日々の中で、特に大変だったことや苦労したことは何でしょうか？
N: 一番大変だったのは迷い続けることでした。
匿名でやる意味はあるのか、この音楽は本当に誰かに届くのか。
答えが出ないまま進む怖さは常にありました。
でも迷っている時間も含めてN.O.I.R.なんだと思えるようになりました。
■N.O.I.R.始動準備を含めた音楽活動の中で、もしくは日常の中で、最近の嬉しかったことや楽しかったことは何でしょうか？
N: 完成した曲を初めて通して聴いたとき「あ、嘘じゃない音楽ができたな」と思えたことです。
それだけで、全て報われた気がしました。
■N.O.I.R.としての活動は、ライブなども予定されていますでしょうか？もしくは、匿名性という形で、今後どのような活動をされる予定でしょうか？
N: ライブという形も含めて、模索中です。
ただ、顔を出す・出さないに縛られず、常にN.O.I.R.らしい表現方法を選んでいきたいと思っています。
音楽が主役であることだけは変えません。
■まだN.O.I.R.の音楽を知らない方々へ、N.O.I.R.のアピールポイントを教えてください。
N: 自分を飾らなくていい音楽です。
強くなれない日、うまく笑えない夜に
そっと隣に置いてもらえたら嬉しいです。
■N.O.I.R.としての目標、夢、野望はどんなことでしょうか？
N: 誰かの人生の一瞬に、静かに寄り添える存在になること。

The new band “N.O.I.R.” (Noir) is finally starting with a groundbreaking concept!
N.O.I.R.’s first single, “Fukanzen’na Boku e” was digitally released on February 18, 2026. It’s a wonderful song that evokes sadness, transience, and kindness!

■Congratulations on the start of your new band!
The phrase “non-existent musician” is intriguing. Could you tell us what N.O.I.R. is. What “anonymous music” means, and what circumstances led you to begin this activity?
N: Thank you very much.
I started N.O.I.R. because I wanted to create “music that belongs to no one.”
When a name, face, or status becomes the most important thing, the music itself gets pushed into the background.
That’s why I chose the phrase “non-existent musician.“
“Anonymous music” isn’t about hiding my identity. It’s about creating space for listeners to engage with the music on their own terms.
My identity isn’t important; what matters is how my music touches someone’s heart.
If my music can reach someone’s heart, I hope that’s all that will remain.
■With this anonymous music approach, are you, N, handling all aspects—lyrics, composition, vocals, performance, photography, and so on? Or are there other anonymous members involved?
N: I handle the core elements, such as the lyrics and vocals.
However, N.O.I.R. is definitely not a solitary world.
For arrangements, takuto/kono (ex- 鴉-KARASU-拓人) with the arrangements, breathing life into the tracks.
While we don’t reveal our identities, we do recruit skilled people to assist when necessary, ensuring that the music is of the highest quality.
■不完全な僕へ(Fukanzen’na Boku e)(To the Imperfect Me)) has a beautiful lyric and a melody that convey sadness, fragility, kindness, and a pure, honest heart. It really touched me. I’d love to hear about your feelings when you wrote this lyric or any background stories..
N: Thank you.
I wrote this song as though I were writing a letter to my past self.
It is for the person I used to be: someone who couldn’t become strong or live skillfully, yet who still kept on living desperately.
It’s a song in which I transformed the words “It’s okay to be imperfect” into music because I could never bring myself to say them out loud.
■How was the song “To the Imperfect Me” composed? Was there anything that inspired it?
N: The melody was created during a very calm moment.
Nothing specially happened, but it was a night when I thought, “Maybe it’s okay to be a little nicer to myself today.“
Instead of being inspired by something flashy, the focus was on capturing the emotions on the verge of spilling over in everyday life.
■The MV features many wonderful photos that made a strong impression. Did you take those photos yourself, N? Could you explain the ideas behind the photos or the things you want people to notice in the music video?
N:Yes, I took the photos myself, and I deliberately kept imperfect compositions and slightly blurred moments. For the music video, I valued “the feeling of unease that lingers in memory” more than “beauty.” The feelings of each viewer are what make the music video feel complete, just like the music.
■Starting a new band is surely difficult. What was especially challenging during the preparation for N.O.I.R.’s start and release? What did you struggle with the most?
N:The hardest part was the constant hesitation.
Is there really meaning in doing this anonymously? Will this music truly reach anyone?
The fear of moving forward without answers was always there.
But I even noticed that even the time I spent hesitating is part of what N.O.I.R. is.
■In your musical activities, including preparations for the launch of N.O.I.R., or in your daily life, what has made you happy or what have you enjoyed recently??
N: The moment I listened to the finished track, all the way through, for the first time and thought,
“Ah, this is honest music, I made something real.” That alone felt that everything was worth it.
■Do you have any plans to perform live as N.O.I.R., or, given the anonymity, what activities do you plan to pursue in the future?
N: We’re still exploring, including the possibility of live shows.
However, I want to continue choosing forms of expression that remain true to N.O.I.R., regardless of whether my face is revealed.
The one thing that will never change is keeping ‘music’ as the main focus.
■For people who haven’t heard N.O.I.R.’s music yet, what makes it appealing?
N:It’s music that lets you be yourself.
On days when you can’t be strong, or nights when you can’t smile properly, I’d be happy if you could just listen to it quietly.
■What are your goals, dreams, or ambitions as N.O.I.R.?
N: The goal is to become a presence that can quietly stand by someone during a single moment in their life.
Nothing more, nothing less.
